With over 25 years of experience in film and video production, Garrett Williams is a skilled Director of Photography, Camera Operator, and FAA-Certified Drone Pilot. His work spans documentary, commercial, and corporate projects—balancing a grounded, cinematic style with technical precision and efficiency on set.
Garrett’s portfolio includes collaborations with national brands like John Deere, BMW, UPS, Verizon, The Home Depot, and Michelin. Whether capturing authentic interviews, process-driven industrial content, or story-driven branded visuals, he brings a calm presence, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of production workflows to every shoot.
His technical expertise covers a wide range of camera platforms including ARRI, Sony, RED, Canon, Blackmagic, and Panasonic. He’s also experienced with Preston Cinema Systems, ARRI and RT wireless FIZ systems, and wireless video workflows—skills that allow him to integrate easily with any camera department or lead as a DP with confidence.
Garrett owns and operates a full range of gear, including Sony 4K video and stills cameras, prime and zoom lenses, FAA-compliant drone systems, lighting and grip kits, a versatile gimbal system, EasyRig, MoCo slider, client monitors, wireless video and audio solutions. He’s available as a solo shooter for lean productions or can scale up with crew for larger projects across the Southeast.
